Pediatric Speech Therapy

The pediatric SLP works to prevent, assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, social communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in children in a variety of settings. This may include providing speech/language therapy, providing aural rehabilitation to individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing, or providing the pediatric client with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems to help the individual reach their most effective level of communication.
